MTRR

Metabolic System · Vitamin, Cofactor & One-Carbon Metabolism

Why does the homocysteine pathway need MTRR as well as MTR?

MTRR makes an enzyme that helps keep methionine synthase functioning. It supports the recycling machinery rather than independently proving whether someone's homocysteine level is high.
